Deshpande unhappy at Cook not having a look at Bengaluru Menu

From Our Special Correspondent

Daijiworld Media Network

Bengaluru, May 20: Karnataka’s Large and Medium Industry Minister R V Deshpande expressed his ‘disappointment’ over Apple CEO Tim Cook not visiting Bengaluru, the knowledge capital of India.

"It is sad that Bengaluru, which hosts around one million IT professionals, was given a miss by the CEO of the world's largest technology company," Deshpande said.

He, however, said "Thank you very much for visiting India. However, we in Karnataka state are disappointed as this time you could not make it to Bengaluru, the Silicon City of India."

"I am sure in your next visit you will first land in Bengaluru and then go to other parts of our country,” Deshpande, who is also the Tourism minister, said in his letter to Cook, copies of which were released to the media.

Welcoming Apple’s plan to set up an 'App Design and Development Accelerator', Deshpande said, "Indian IT professionals will get a boost as part of a global programme. I am looking forward to your group to make more and more investments in India, more so in Karnataka."

My question to Desperatee Panday :

Does anyone in USA, for that matter even within India, knows who really you are and what you stand for?

What was your role in attracting foreign , particularly big FDIs from USA?

How effectively have you ever marketed K'taka, India as a whole as a lucrative investment destination?

How successful your govt. and yourself in particular have succeeded in realizing investments announced during the varios GIMs held in K'taka.

Do you really personally know Cook so well??

Is it not that you are just passing useless comments in the press which really mean nothing to you?

    Shame on you.

Wow, what a comment!!!!! Congress treats BJP as their strong and big foe or at worst they treat them as untouchable, righly few commentators said that they neglected rather rejected Centre's each and every scheme or prtoject, even the electricity centre offers, then they crib but never forgets to send delegation to get more more Money or funds .

come on... those entrepreneurs are smart and intelligent enough. By now we are famous having a dongi congi govt here at Karnataka which is ever survived with caste politics, reservations... etc etc. also we are famous for the corruption in the state... no water... no electricity... nothing... how stupid to expect the Apply CEO to come here... first you change your state cleaning up from this dongi corrupt govt, arrange for a water, electricity... then companies like Apple will definitely keep Bangalore in their agenda... you need not beg for that... realize where are we now in world view.

Do you know how Tim Cook got this surname COOK ?
His great grandpa was really a poor Cook in some Hotel and hence this Surname.
If this Tim Cook had taken birth in India what would have happened ?
Just because his great grand father was a poor Cook he would have faced all sorts of Caste discrimination from upper caste people right from primary school and he would have ped out of school and finally Timmy Cook would have been just an apple vendor in some stinking fruit market ( unless he had joined RSS and then learnt some street smart drama from Feku Chaiwala).

Cook is apple CEO. He knows what is there in Bangalore menu. He might have heard about corruption, infrastructure, electricity, water, drainage and rules and regulations. What Despande knows about the world ??? Despande studied may be history from the books. Our ministers thinks that they can fool others like how they fool the people.

The reason of Tim Cook not visiting Bengaluru may be due to 3 reasons. First may be he may not have known Bengaluru. In his mind it will be Bangalore.
Or seeing water problem. Thirdly may be thinking of power cut he may not be able to see our Industry Minister. Or may be because 'APPLES' rates in Karnataka market are expensive. Let us hope he will vist next time.

Deshpande was too late to react on Cook's schedule. He is too old for this job. Learn it from Telangana's minister.
