Bahrain: KSC Celebrates Thirty Fifth Annual Day

Bahrain, Oct 27: The Karnataka Social Club celebrated the 35th annual day at Delmon International Hotel here on Thursday October 25.

The celebrations started at 9 pm with a welcome dance by the children. President of Karnataka Social Club, Richard Moras welcomed the dignitaries and attributed the unique achievement to the support of members, sponsors and well-wishers. 

Addressing the gathering as a chief guest, the ambassador of India to Bahrain Balakrishna Shetty paid rich tributes to our rich cultural heritage and appreciated the hard work, dedication and integrity of Indians working in Bahrain.

Al-Jazira group was the main sponsor of the programme.  The main event of the programme was the grand professional fashion show sponsored by Al-Jazira group followed by Mr & Mrs Karnataka contest. 

Dances by members’ children entertained the members and guests with good display of talents.

Entertainment secretary Rajesh Prabhu compered the programme ably assisted by committee member Sydney Correa.

General secretary Richard Pais delivered the vote of thanks.
