What a delightful article to read about the Konkany performance in Riyadh. We have been frequent visitors to Riyadh from Dammam during the time of King Saud, King Faisal, King Khalid and King Fahad. All the Embassies in those days were in Jeddah. Lot of fond memories of the past are enriched with the fact that there is progress and freedom to conduct some of the community activities in a land that is far far away from our own. This is a good sign of motivation. Our congratulations to each and every Konkany members, and wish you continued success in all your furture endeavours in supporting your Konkany culture.

Congratulations to all members and organisers of AANGAN KONKNICHEM. It was nice to see some new faces thriving with talents and showing lots of interest to preserve Konkani culture especially in a country like Saudi Arabia where we served for a long time. We sincerely appreciate all the efforts of organizers and the support of Konkani Loving people for this type of cultural programme. We still remember earlier SKAR used to organise this type of functions and programmes with great difficulty inside the houses. Kudos to Arun Palimar, Manoj, Johnson & their team. Lamb jiyem Aangan Konknichem. Cheers
