Dubai: BCF felicitates Abdul Khader Emkay

Dubai, May 30: Bearys Cultural Forum, UAE and India in association with Abdul Latif Mulky, vice president hosted a dinner party at the Jonrad Hotel, here to honor the city's senior Janata Dal leader, Janab Abdul Khader Emkay, former president, Shafi Juma Masjid Mulky and managing director of EMKAY Enterprises, EMKAY Plyboards and Crops Care (India) Products and Abdul Jaleel, managing partner, EMKAY Enterprises.





Abdul Khader Emkay has been a great social worker in the coastal districts of Karnataka State and has been instrumental in bringing up the poor of Karnataka State. The function started with Quran recitation by M E Moolur, vice president of BCF. Dr Kaup welcomed all the guests including the distinguished guests and the president Dr B K Yusuf and all the executive committee members. Dr Kaup provided a briefing on Bearys Cultural Forum's activities conducted in the UAE and India. He said, "BCF’s main objective is to promote, educate and create social, cultural and educational awareness amongst the Bearys and the downtrodden population of coastal Karnataka and the UAE. He also mentioned that the BCF regularly conducts cultural, sports, talent search, educational activities, career guidance seminars, Iftar party, etc every year and also provides educational scholarships to the poor downtrodden students for pursuing their higher studies in the field of medicine, engineering, pharmacy, business management, nursing, journalism, dentistry etc Mangaluru, India."

All the members of BCF introduced themselves to the guest of honor, Abdul Khader Emkay. Dr Yusuf, the president of BCF also applauded the work done by the guest, Abdul Khader Emkay and he said, “We are proud to do the felicitation of our guests visiting from Karnataka.”

Abdul Lathif Mulky, the vice president of BCF thanked Abdul Khader Emkay for his presence at the BCF felicitation ceremony. Lathif Mulky also gave a briefing on the Iftar meet 2016 and requested the distinguished guests and all the members to attend BCF's Iftar meet 2016. The invitation for BCF's Iftar meet 2016 was released by Abdul Khader Emkay and Dr B K Yusuf along with all the members of the BCF executive committee.

Abdul Khader Emkay was conferred with an award of felicitation and appreciation for his great contribution to the Bearys and the society. Abdul Khader said that he was highly delighted to accept this honor and was glad to receive the award. He said that he will continue to support BCF for uplifting the poor people of Karnataka.

M E Moolur gave a briefing on the scholarship function to be held on August 21 in Mangaluru. He requested all people to submit their scholarship applications before June 15. The vice president, Ameeruddin SI and Afeeq Hussain also conveyed their appreciation for this felicitation function. Mumtaz Hussain and all the ladies wing members were applauded for honoring the distinguished delegates Abdul Khader Emkay and Abdul Jaleel. The media representatives namely Mohd Niyaz from Coastal digest.com and Rafique Kolpe from VK News were also honored by BCF and Abdul Khader Emkay for their dedication and service to the society. M B Akbar proposed the vote of thanks. Abdul Lathif Mulky hosted the delicious buffet dinner for all the attendees of the function.
