Suspecting illicit relationship with wife, man murders father

Chikkaballapur, Jun 4: In an incident which occurred at Kondavanahalli in the district, a person killed his father because of suspicion that he was having an affair with his wife. The victim in this case was K C Narayanaswany (59), working as traffic controller at KSRTC bus depot at Gudibande.

Narayanaswamy ws a resident of Kondavanahalli. His son, Mahesh Kumar, allegedly committed this crime. Narayanaswamy's lifeless body was found lying at the pump house of his agricultural land on May 30. Thereafter, his younger son, Sanjaykumar, had filed complaint in Gudubande police station, claiming that unknown miscreants had killed his father.

The policemen, to clear their suspicions, questioned Narayanaswamy's other son, Mahesh Kumar. During interrogation, Mahesh revealed that he suspected his father to be having illicit relationship with his wife, as his father was lenient with his wife. "I went to my father, who was at the pump house then, and questioned him on this issue. Thereafter, we fought angrily. I was enraged, and in a fit of anger, hit my father with a club, killing him instantly," He confessed.
