Saudi Arabia, Jun 4: Karnataka minister of health U T Khader said that the government intends to start mobile ambulances in 26 places of rural areas in the state where government hospitals do not exist.

He was speaking as the chief guest in a programme held by M Friends Mangaluru at Jubail Royal Commission Golden Fish Restaurant on Friday, June 3 to provide information on Mobile clinic project.

“When social websites such as WhatsApp are being misused at present, M Friends WhatsApp group has created a movement by working in the area of health in Karnataka coastal districts,” he said.

M Friends secretary Rashid Vitla in his key note address said that M Friends Mobile clinic is a project worth Rs fifty lacs. “The project consists of holding meaningful Health Camps in 20 villages in Dakshina Kannada district together with doctors and paramedical staff. There will be lab facility in the ambulances. Zakariya Bajpe has come forward to generously sponsor the Mobile Clinic bus,” he said. 

M Friends president Mohammed Hanif Haji Golthamajalu presided over the programme. Al Mozain group’s Zaheer Zakaria, White Stone group’s CEO B M Sharif, Amaco group CEO Mohammed Asif, Talib Hussain Mubarak Al Hamas, Realtec CEO Mohammed Ismail Ullal and Dubai Al Falah MD Yousuf S participated as chief guests.

Tahir Salmara, V H Ashraf, Zubair Vitla, Musthafa Iruvail and Rifai Kodippadi were present. Yunes Riad welcomed. Faruk Port Folio proposed vote of thanks. Abubacker Notary Vitla and Irshad Bairikatte compered the programme. Rashid Vitla gave a key note address.
