Let us not blame each other. The cause of statue falling from the stand on which it stood could be wind which may have pierced through the glass causing the mishap. Even trees fall due to swirling wind. Should not blame others without reason.

DID THE STATUE FALL ON ITS OWN DUE TO WIND .?
No stones , no signs of attack, no signs of stone mark on statue.
It could have fallen on its own.
Moral fix statues properly they cant stand on their own.

How strong wind blew on the night of Sunday 5th June ? Why no news of any other objects, like a portrait or a tree/branch fallen ? Does the TOI reporter think the statue is made of thermocol ?

Nevertheless, lets assume it fell due to the wind. Will the foot side of the object lie positioned near the base or towards some other direction ? I am asking this upon viewing the images, I don't know if somebody moved the pieces together to take photographs which is not normal because a crime scene is left untouched for the police to have a look before moving anything.

Lydia, if it was a sudden storm then the Church windows / neighbouring houses too would have shattered their glass panes. In this case nothing has happened. Joan Fernandes is right in posing this question. Sometimes we have to think rationally ( use our common sense ) before commenting.

Im surprised as to how the Police have not suspected or caught the culprits in such a small village / town as yet. Just because Christians are a soft target this is happening. This incident should be condemned by all sections of society.

I have lived among'st Christians for decades. They are so loving, hospitable, charitable and trust worthy community.

Condemnable act but not worse than we (christians) demolishing/ raging our own heritage churches to 'rebuild new' one . Despite old churches r very stable its the ego to have new one with millions funding , instead funding noble charity purposes. I have seen some families not spending single anna for medical emergency of their own elderly but they will donate abundantly to church building activities .

This is the dream of every Parish Priest to build a new Church and new posh residence ( sometimes a new School building ) for the Priest himself. Ultimately the financial burden is dumped on the parishioners. This happens with the Nuns (Convents ). After it comes up they demand donations from the students parents. This has been going on for centuries and an open fact.

@Dominic REBELLO , Mangalore. Very rightly said but the problem majority of Christians never question it and are of herd mentality . They just follow the crowd and pour in donations . There is a kind of false belief that one must has to donate to new church / convent / school buildings and this will make ' God' happy but this act has no resemblance to teachings of JESUS CHRIST . I would prefer a Cheshire home , hospitals or ashrams to b opened which can benefit the society. And most priests / nuns have luxuries lifestyle / homes compared to a average Christian.

The primary threat to the security of a fingerprint is a preimage attack, where an attacker constructs a key pair whose public key hashes to a fingerprint which matches the victim's fingerprint.
