Udupi, Nov 4:The Narayanguru Satya Sandesha convention, organized by Shri Narayanguru Birthday Celebration Committee was held here at the Adiudupi grounds on Saturday, November 3rd evening.

Former deputy chief minister Siddaramaiah inaugurated the convention and graced the occassion. Shri Murugharajendra Swamiji of Murugha Math Chitradurga, blessed the occasion. Shri Vikhyatananda Swamiji, director of Shivagiri Narayan Dharma Sangam Trust presided over the function.


Fr Denis D’Sa, director of Fr Muller Medical College, A S Puttige the chief editor of Vartabharati Kannada daily, entrepreneur B R Bhasker, MLAs Raghupati Bhat and Gopal Poojary, Zilla Panchayat president Raju Poojary and former MLA U R Sabhapati were the chief guests on the occasion.

Navinchandra Suvarna, president of the All India Billava Union, entrepreneur Bola Poojary, former MP Vinaykumar Sorake, former minister Vasant V Salian, C A Dayanand and others were present on the occasion.

 


Earlier, a huge procession was taken out in the city, which was flagged-off by the entrepreneur J P Narayanswami of Bangalore.
