Mangaluru: Baliga murder case - police freeze Naresh Shenoy's bank accounts

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Jun 11: Relating to the murder of RTI activist, Vinayak P Baliga on March 21 this year, the police have frozen bank accounts of Naresh Shenoy, it is reliably learnt.

The bail applications moved by main accused in the case, Naresh Shenoy, were rejected by the sessions court as well as the high court. The team investigating the murder reportedly has frozen operations in five bank accounts held in the name of Naresh Shenoy. It is said that the police also contemplate freezing of fixed assets in the name of Shenoy as the next step towards pressurizing him to submit himself to the process of law.

In this case, five persons have been arrested so far.

I disagree with the views that there will not be justice.

Everything can change. People can change( or have changed). One may argue that people of Mangalore or DK in general are not wise or else they would understand the simple tricks of politicians to divide people on religion community etc. I would say things will change.

Sanskrathi should not be a criteria for the BJP to get votes. Governance should be the criteria. How is the performance of the sitting MP? Similarly "secularism and minority protection" alone cannot be the criteria to vote for congress.

Perhaps we have forgotten our rights and given them away to less deserving and to those indulging in strong arm tactics. These need to be nipped in the bud. Lower level police force morale may be low enough for them to accept " honorarium".

If each one of us want a change - its like rain water harvesting. Every counts!

Baliga's family DESERVES JUSTICE and the GSB community must step forward and protest the killing of law abiding Baliga who was killed by frauds.

The sad part is that they cannot expect the support of BJP in their fight for justice as they are seen siding with nari.

NAMO founder Naresh Shenoy is in the safe custody with the blessings of local political and religious leader.
He is nor gone to Dubai neither hiding in UP.He is in Mangalore.

His arrest will seriously dented the BJP chances in Mangalore and party image which raise PM to Modi to central leadership.

Sorry for Baliga parents and sister there will no justice in this case. He will secure his bail before he is been arrested.

After 2 months of the incidents Police thought of freezing NaMo Nari's bank accounts!

But, this will not help I guess, because, Nari has so many influential persons who can supply him money and necessary help. If you can, first catch his close friends.

    You got me wrong.
Culprits need to be punished, irrespective of their affiliation to any power houses!
I was just pointing about the preferential treatment of cases by our police and the reason behind that.
