One arrested in relation to homestay accused attack at court premises

Mangaluru, Jun 11: Mangaluru North police on Friday June 10 arrested one person, an aide of Raju alias Japan Manga, who helped him to execute the attack on homestay attack accused in court premises in city recently.

Sushanth is the person arrested.

Subhash Padil and Sampath, two of the accused in the homestay case, were the targets during the attack at court premises after the hearing was over on June 4.

The arrested Sushanth is alleged to have dropped Japan Manga in the court premises and was also waiting to help him for his escape in his motor cycle. But Japan Manga was arrested during the attack, and was taken to Bunder police station. Sushanth had fled from the premises.

A team led by Mangaluru North police inspector Shantharam along with PSI Madhan, head constable Ananda and PC Jayaram apprehended Sushanth.Sushanth was presented to court and then was sent to judicial custody.
