Kuwait: IMA announces photography competition winner

Kuwait, Jun 14: 'Beautiful Kuwait' was the theme of the first-ever IMA photography competition, which invited professional photographers and ambitious amateurs to showcase for the first time their talent. The contest attracted many photographers in the region.




IMA conducted the photography competition on the theme 'Beautiful Kuwait' as part of its 2016 souvenir which was released recently. Winners of the competition were felicitated recently during interfaith Iftar gathering at Saad bin Mutlaq Hall in Fintas. Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Sunil Jain handed over the trophies to the winners. 


The winning picture was a beautiful panoramic shot of Kuwait skyscrapers shot by Guruprasad Hegde. Anil Fernandes and Shamon bagged second and third places respectively for their excellent photography. The winning photographs were printed on the IMA souvenir which was launched recently, online version of IMA souvenir can be accessed from IMA website www.imakuwait.org/souvenir
