Sharjah, Jun 14: The much hyped Konkani Movie 'Ek Aslyar Ek Na' after successful screening in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and booking of forthcoming shows in Qatar & London is all set to be screened in Sharjah, on June 24 (Friday) in Nova Cinema Screen 1, Mega Mall, Sharjah at 4 pm sharp.

Ferns Movie International Producer Frank Fernandes is very happy to see the success of this movie as more demand is pouring from other parts of the world after seeing the overwhelming response. He has requested all Konkani speaking people residing in Sharjah, Ajman and the neighbourhood to come in large numbers to view this movie as a support to Konkani mother tongue. With the growing demand he has arranged this special show for the residents of Sharjah and Northern Emirates.

'Ek Aslyar Ek Na' is Pradeep Barboza's first Konkani film for which he has written the story and the dialogues. A well-known personality in Konkani circles, he has vast experience of several successful Konkani plays and has also played the lead role in this movie. Promising and up-and-coming beautiful actress Priya Menezes has played the lead female role. Some of the artistes include 'Me-Mo-Ri' fame Richard Sequeira, Jerald Moras and Melwyn D Almeida, the famous comedy trio of Konkani, John D'Silva who is already famous in Goan cinema, Deepak Paladka of 'Nirel' and 'Dhand' Tulu movie fame, Alwyn Danty, Lucy Aranha Kuwait, Lavina Gomes of Dubai, and Godwin Castelino lead the comedy part, versatile actors Alphons D'Souza Moodubelle, Claude D Leema Shirva, Andrew Master Paladka, Gladys Hospet, Rons London, Joseph Mathias, Clara Rodrigues Abu Dhabi, Lu, Shawn Mangalore, Rohan, Prafulla and many other amateur aspiring actors feature in the movie. On the whole, 'Ek Aslyar Ek Na' is a complete entertainment package for viewers, perhaps the best ever made in Konkani so far.

The technical team comprises 'Savari 2' Kannada movie fame D Shashikumar who has provided the cinematography, music is by Vanil Veigas, lyrics by Wilson Kateel, and singers are Prajoth D'Sa, Ashwin D'Costa, Priya Menezes, Jyothsna Roshan and Anjana Padmanabhan. Stany Bela and Kishore Moodbidri are the assistant directors and the film has been edited by awarding-winning editor of 'Chandikori' fame Sujith Nayak. Stunts are by famous Kannada action director Mass Madha while choreography is by Akul, Girish and Rajesh Brahmavar. Alphonse Moodbelle and Rajesh Kudla have given their best as production in-charge. Shodhan Prasad and Deepak Paladka are taking care of all marketing activities of the movie supported by Ranjith Bajpe.

It is a Konkani film with a Bollywood touch - hypnotizing scenes, witty dialogues, gripping story, mixture of emotions and comedy, foot-tapping music and choreography, Dabangg-style action and even an 'item' number to spice it up. To top it all - a clarity like never seen before in a Konkani film. Here's a Konkani film that has humour, emotions and the pace, one that was desired from a Konkani film - a fun-filled tale, with many relishable moments. The screenplay is the first thing one would be attracted to. The film has lots of exciting twists and turns.
