When people are desperate for money, they beg for it from a generous person.

And then they have no interest in returning the borrowed principal. Forget about any interest.

When the lender insists that the borrower return the money, the borrower physically/mentally harms the lender.

There is nothing new in this. Many generous lenders, trying to help a person in need, have paid a heavy penalty for being generous.

So, when a friend, relative or a neighbour - man or woman - cries to you for some money, gently turn them away.

It is better to lose a fair-weather friend/relative/neighbour then getting your neck broken.
