Kuwait, Nov 7: Kuwait Canara Welfare Association (KCWA) is proud to announce the celebration of annual KCWA Christmas Party at Integrated Indian School, Abbasiya (Behind Bharathiya Vidyarthi Bhavan) on Friday December 7 from 3 pm to 9 pm.

The whole event, dedicated to KCWA Family, especially to children, will have Santa giving away goodies to children, Christmas tableax, DJ music, Baila Masala, dances, spot prizes, awards, gifts galore and delicious dinner buffet served by Caesars Restaurant. 

Christmas contests will begin at 3 pm and other entertainment programme will begin at 4 pm. Entry passes will be available from Friday November 9 and last date to collect passes will be Friday November 30.

Apart from the above, various awards for children will be awarded during the program.

Mabel Alphonso, Sam Alphonso and Lawrence D’Souza sponsored merit scholarships for students of tenth and twelfth standard for academic excellence in Kuwait.

“Spinney’s Confectionery” sponsored extra-curricular award for members' children. Be it in Kuwait or elsewhere, if a child has won in CBSE inter-school competitions, inter-college competitions or represented the school outside the state/country in the academic year 2006-07. Apart from the above, special members draw will be held, which will include active member present on the venue and also for renewal of membership for 2008 and new members.

Housie-housie and hamper draw will also be held with fabulous prizes during the event. The highest sellers of hampers will also be honoured. Hampers can be collected from any of the managing committee members.

Entry pass for tiny tots of 3 years and below and senior citizens (member or spouse) above 60 years is free. The entry pass should be collected before the dead line. Passes are available with
