Udupi, Jun 17: The picture of senior BJP leader and former deputy prime minister L K Advani was seen dumped in a heap of trash on the left side of BJP office in Udupi, apparently to insult him.
L K Advani's love for Udupi is well-known. When no Jan Sangh candidate had won anywhere in the country, the candidate in Udupi town municipal council had won and was recognised in national level. The incident made L K Advani very proud of Udupi. He had mentioned about it during his visit to Karnataka.
Advani was fond of late Dr V S Acharya also for this reason. The local people have expressed their disgust at dumping the picture of the veteran national leader in thrash.
