Mangaluru, Jun 18: 'Chaali Polilu', the superhit Tulu movie that completed 511 days of successful shows, breaking all records in the regional cinema, will now be screened in Israel on Friday, June 24 at Betbarbar, Hagana 135, Tel Aviv.
With this, 'Chaali Polilu' becomes the first movie in the history of Tulu industry to be screened in Israel. The movie has been produced by Prakash Pandeshwar under the banner of Jaya Kirana Films, and directed by Veerendra Shetty Kavoor.
The movie has been released in Mangaluru, Udupi and various another places in Karnataka namely Bengaluru, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, Mudigere, Madikeri, Koppa, Sakleshpur, Byndoor, and also in out of state places like Kasargod, Mumbai and Pune. The movie has also received tremendous response from viewers in Melbourne in Australia, Boston and San Jose in USA, Bahrain, Muscat, Dubai, Sarjah and other places where it released.
'Chaali Polilu' has also participated in the Hyderabad Film Festival and Bengaluru International Film Festival as well, besides receiving the Best Film and Best Director awards at the Tulu Cinemotsava organized in Mangaluru. The movie has received wide support and encouragement from viewers of all communities.
'Dabak Dabaa Aisa'
The second project from Jaya Kirana Films and the makers of 'Chaali Polilu' is 'Dabak Dabaa Aisa'. The new movie will be released in various theatres across the coastal belt on August 5 this year. The movie has already received wide support and encouragement from Tulu movie lovers and is touted as one the most-awaited movies of this season.
