Lourdes Central School kindergarten holds finale on colours day

Media Release

Mangaluru, Jun 20: 'Your attitude is like a box of crayons that colour your world. Try adding some bright colours to the picture by including humour and your picture begins to lighten up' says Allen Klein.

Lourdes Central School kindergarten section, celebrated their finale on colours day, June 18th. The primary colours red, yellow, green and blue along with other secondary colours were introduced to the KG1 students from the beginning of June. Since then, many activities such as finger printing on an apple, sponge dabbing on mango, cloth dabbing on a tree etc were conducted in their artwork book. On the day of the finale, all the KG1 classes were decorated with toys and things brought by the children. They were also dressed up in colourful attire and looked stunning. This added real colour to the finale.

Principal Fr Robert D'Souza visited all the KG1 classes and appreciated the children for their response in identifying colours.

By reciting many songs on colours the children registered the colours in their minds for the first time in their lives.
