Mangaluru, Jun 20: A man who was earlier admitted in a Deralakatte hospital for treatment died on Monday, June 20 while his wife and daughter who have been missing for the last two months are yet to be traced.

Manjunath (40) from Kukkuwada Karigannuru Cross in Davanagere died in his hometown on Monday, June 20. His other family members are trying to trace Manjunath’s wife Manjula (35) and daughter Pallavi (14) for the sake of final rites.

Manjunath was admitted in Deralakatte Yenepoya hospital in April this year. His wife Manjula and daughter Pallavi were with him. Manjula said that she is going to her hometown on April 27 and left the hospital. Manjula even phoned her father Rajanna that she was coming home with daughter. But mother and daughter did not reach home and since then have been untraceable.

Rajanna had complained about it in Ullal police station after they went missing.

Manjunath went back to his home town after his treatment in the hospital but was worried by the absence of his wife and daughter. Before dying he had requested that his last rites be performed in the presence of his wife and daughter. The family members are depressed that they could not trace Manjula and Pallavi till now.

Manjula was running a hotel in Davanagere for past 17 years.

I find the development here happened bit funny. When the husband is ill and hospitelized ,normally a wife doesnt go to hometown at least far away from sick Person. But here is something quite opposite.if at all she goes under urgent Problems, she would inquire about his health, development. But here ,she goes ,and no whereabout is known ,not even as he dies she is not to find with kid.very very suspicious.Did something happen on the way?OR purposely the woman left him back?God knows.Sad that the man died without any home People and his wish is not yet fulfilled.Hope it may go someday fulfilled and his Soul may rest in heaven.
