Udupi: 'Not aware why I was dropped' - Vinay Kumar Sorake

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (SP)

Udupi, Jun 21: "I was given an opportunity to work as minister for three years. I am not aware why I was all of a sudden dropped. I do not know which conspiracy was hatched to deprive me of the ministerial post. Chief minister (CM) and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) alone can provide answers to these questions" said Kaup MLA, Vinay Kumar Sorake.

Sorake said before the ministry reorganization he had discussed about the prospects of him being dropped. "The chief minister said that there was no such proposal and that no decision had been taken. I was not at all given an inkling of what was to come either by the CM or the KPCC," he explained.

Sorake added that although he is a Billava by birth, he had never confined himself to serving this community. He said he had worked for the welfare of all the communities honestly, adding that he was at a loss why he faced sudden fall from grace.

While opining that depriving Billava community of a berth in the cabinet was improper in the light of the fact that Billavas had been given representation in earlier ministries in the state since long, he opined that injustice has been done to Billavas through this move. At the same time, he said he is aware of the frustration and pain being felt by leaders of the party, community, and activists. However, he advised them to exercise restraint and have patience.

Mr. Vinay Kumar Sorake is a true gentleman and honest politician. Another politician pays the price for being honest n sincere. Mr. Sorake deserves to be in the cabinet considering all the development works he has taken up. Hope Congress will wake up n recognise this fact n make him minister again to serve the people of Karnataka in general n Kaup/Udupi in particular

Mr. Sorake Pls note you took the seat of Kaup from Vasanth Salian because u knew that you will not win from Puttur. I can ask why you took Vasanth Salian seat. Pls don't justify your removal. All our coastal Politicians are useless. I want to know what Development have you done to your constituency in the last 3 yrs. How many Govt Schools infrastructure has been improved? How many Borewells has been added? What improvement has been done to roads in your area. Pls get up and do for your constituency. If you have the guts stand as independent like Halady Shetty and win. You will get max 5000 seats. Pls visit Shimoga, Hassan constituency of Yedurappa and Deve Gowda. I don't support them but see the infrastructure with regards to schools, roads, Borewells etc. These might look silly but these are all basic which is lacking. We must be united and not be community based and work for the overall development of our undivided Coastal Karnataka. This is not happening. I feel the way it is going I don't think so Congress can keep these seats in DK and Udupi in the next election. I always say it is our congress leaders from Coastal Karnataka who are instrumental in BJP winning seats. Pls note im neither a Congress Supporter nor BJP Supporter. I support whoever is proactive and does overall development with regards to Coastal Karnataka and find ways options leads in helping our youths in getting jobs. Most of our youths in undivided Coastal Karnataka are moving to Bangalore for jobs.

Dongis who accuse sorake of being non performer should know that he was dropped not because of his performance but simply because he cannot generate the set 100 crore target to the treasure of its "Putgosi" high command despite having such a high profile portfolio. For a change he his one of those rarest hands clean politician like Jannanna( but jannannas tongue is not clean like his Jaathi politics). In that case Vinayanna is always better helpful and reachable by a common man.

This am saying being a hard core anti-scamgress Bhakth.

Sorake is a true gentleman. He unlike other politicians has been requesting his followers to not resort to violence and keep away from disrupting the public at large. The party should reconsider his ministership, Pramod and Sorake in Udupi will be a great Combination in the coming elections .God Should give some sense to Oscar.

look who is talking.. the whole season Siddu sleapt. presented budget in dark. no money to buy power. no end to communal violence and agitations and strikes. even police fear for their life and want to strike. State is bankrupt. when farmers are dying, he is busy with Hublot watch and changing car because a crow sat. IAS officers are transferred like crazy. yettinahole and chamundi hills are the worst projects seen in state so far. never inspires his ministers to work. only minority appeasemtn on cards. you think then others should be sacked? marl unda?

here people are strange.. the one who sees ROHIT VEMULA caste while he dies, ask why ministers are seggreagated in caste and religion.

Why MLA seat has to be given to BAVA, LOBO when their numbers are so small in coastal belt?! Khader I agree is in dense muslim area. why MLC seat has to be given to Ivan Dsouza? why Rajyasabha seat has to be repeatedly for Oscar fernandes? why Gafoor kinds go round round this leaders? if you look at the numbers, there should be maximum billawa/bunt/ no? why so much representation to just two communities? appeasement? has siddu not done caste census to find all this?

You mean to say minister ship should be given as per the population count, not as per qualification and merit? Common Choddyam ! Let government give chance to new faces ! If outgoing Ministers are really serious to serve, they can do it being a MLA too.
