Kasargod, Jun 23: A person, who had gone missing since Sunday, was found to have drowned in a well. The victim happens to be Sundar (43), son of Chaniya from Bajakoodlu.
Sundar was a coolie by profession. He had suddenly gone missing since Sunday June 19 evening. His family members, who waited for his return till late night that day, had conducted searches at various places for him. His body was found on Wednesday June 22 in an abandoned well about 500 metres away from his home.
The body was brought out by the fire brigade, Badiyadka police and locals who worked in close coordination. It is suspected that Sundar would have fallen into the well on Sunday night.
Badiyadka police have registered a case of unnatural death.
