Mangaluru, Jun 25: As a result of sudden landslide that took place at Thokkottu, three vehicles ended up in a crater created by the landslide.

The incident took place at 11 pm near Maya Bar on Friday night of June 24. People gathered were surprised to see three vehicles in the crater.

Activa, Avenger and Dio bikes belonged to Anil, Danny and Ozzy respectively. Ullal police inspector Shashikanth, upon knowing about the incident, called fire brigade immediately. But none of them was ready to enter the crater and bring up the vehicles. But ultimately a person named Manoj, who was untrained, managed to bring up the vehicles using a crane. People appreciated the pains the inspector took to get the work done. They were also seen criticizing fire brigade personnel who only talked.

It is said that while widening the road, the height of the road was increased by using soil. People said, a well was closed in that process without using sufficient soil but with the help of a thin concrete layer. This ‘patch work’ has ended in the landslide now. Luckily there was no harm to human beings who are always seen talking in the area.

Find it very dangerous, not only at present in future too.As one sees the Pictures, place around of the Krater is not yet sure that further landslide takes place.Immediate measurements must be followed before whole buildings start to give off.Even dangerous to Drivers too.whole road is to be closed immediately and start work to fill up.
