Puttur, Jun 25: In an accident which occurred at Kondeppady on Bellare Road, Savanur in the taluk on Friday June 24, a motor bike rider was killed after his vehicle skidded.

Sathish Noojaje (26), son of Noojaje Monappa Naik in Punchappady in the taluk died in this accident. He was a graduate in journalism.

Sathish was going in his motor bike towards Savanur from Bellare on Friday, when his bike skidded and he was thrown on to the ground. On getting banged against the road due to this unexpected development, he suffered severe injuries and breathed his last on the spot.

The engagement function of the youngest sister of Sathish had been performed on Thursday, and he had dropped off a guest who had come to the function at his home and was returning when the accident happened. He had completed his degree in journalism from Vivekananda College here three years back. He was involved with agricultural activities, besides conducting minor business activities.
