Mrudula Murali to make Bollywood debut with 'Raag Desh'


Chennai, Jun 25 (IANS): Southern actress Mrudula Murali has been roped in as the leading lady in Tigmanshu Dhulia's "Raag Desh", which also stars Sonam Kapoor's cousin Mohit Marwah.

"She will play the role of a real life character in the period drama. The film will be based on the Indian National Army trials," read a statement.

The film is also rumoured to star Kunal Kapoor in an important role.

Mrudula, who has starred in southern projects such as "Eisamma Enna Aankutty", "Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA" and "Shigamani", is expected to start shooting for the project soon.
