Muguruza prefers thinking about Wimbledon glory than being No.1

Madrid, June 25 (IANS): Reigning French Open champion Garbiñe Muguruza said on Saturday she is not obsessed with being World No.1 and prefers to think about winning matches at the Wimbledon tennis championships that begin on Monday.

The Spanish star vaulted to No.2 after beating US tennis icon Serena Williams in the French Open final earlier this month, reports Efe.

Muguruza, who lost to Williams in the last edition of Wimbledon, expressed her wish to face the defending champion again but said it is difficult to reach the final of a Grand Slam.

The 22-year-old added that it is good to play against Serena, who she considers the best player in history.
