Beltangady, Jun 26: A pedestrian lost his life after he was hit by a motor bike on Monday June 25 morning. The accidetn ocurred at Somanthadka near Dharmasthala.

Gowda, 55, a resident of Shettihithilumane in Chibidre, Kakkinje, was killed in this accident. He was walking to Somanthadka downtown for some work when a motor bike driven by Dhanyakumar hit him.

Sridhar, who suffered serious injuries and bled profusely, died on the spot. Dharmasthala police have registered the case. Investigation has been taken up.
