We are ourselves to be blamed for most of the road accidents.

    1. Everyday we see kids behind and front without helmets with their mother or father. When there are pillion riders we need to be extra careful on the lookout for other vehicles errors in judgement.

    2. Every day people ( gents and ladies) wearing helmets without properly strapping - whats the use of these helmets ? For whose sake do we wear them?

    3. Teenagers and youth do not wear helmets at all ( more so in smaller roads). They do not even follow traffic rules. Speed up, are impatient.

4.Indicator lights are not used by every one. 4 wheelers almost never use indicator light. After getting the DL they would have forgotten their hand signals as well. Police should check from time to time the indicators function well or not and fine the ones not working.

    5. Impatience is shown via repeated horns when a vehicle is reversing or making a U turn etc. The vehicle driver making the turn gets distracted with these nuisance blaring horn attitude. Whats the big hurry?

    6. When a vehicle is stopped on a roadside( especially the 4 wheeler) for whatever reason - use the hazard lights( all four indicators blinking) so that the vehicles from behind need not horn.

Everybody blames the Police. Blame Your Corrupt Politicians and Stupid Engineers who design the road system.
Look at the road at Nanthoor on left side towards Junction. They are facilitating the Corrupt Builders. Lakhs spent on signals at Nanthoor junction. Not a single day it worked. No one talks about it.
Police have 2 eyes,2 hands and 2 legs like us. They cannot be everywhere at one time. They stop Tippers going towards Ullal loaded with Black stone boulders. If stopped for violations, call comes from MLA and Builders Office to release it. Stop a Bus for lawlessness, call comes from Politicians to set the driver free of guilt, because Bus belongs to Political Connected.
None of the Schools worried all this time about vehicles overloaded with little Children. All of a sudden everyone woke up and started to jump with a fake show to tell the Public that they care so much about Children. * dead Children woke them up.
But when I went to these few schools to tell them, the danger of overloaded Vehicles, they gave me blunt answers,"What is happening outside is not our problem" Their problem is collecting donation.

Just go to this link of number of fatalities around the world. Its not about the good or bad roads its about BAD driving sense & sometimes the pedestrians also.

REST IN PEACE MOTHER N CHILD,,

I PRAY FOR GANESH'S SPEEDY RECOVERY,

I THINK TRAFFIC RULES WILL NEVER CHANGE, RTO IS JUST SLEEPING AND WAKES UP WHEN ACCIDENTS TAKE PLACE.. CANCEL THESE KIND OF DRIVERS LICENSE AND MAKE THEM BEG ON THE ROAD..

SHAME ON THESE DRIVERS AFTER SEEING THE INCIDENTS ALSO NOT CHANGING THEIR MIND N GOING ON KILLING INNOCENTS LIVES..

why there is no punishment for over speeding vehicle drivers in India?
kindly install cctv cameras on roads and catch the over speeding vehicles and impose heavy fine. or confiscate the vehicle.

At this Halakatte cross there are 10 group humps on each side, however no vehicle's tends to slow down instead accelerate more.
These humps have proved to be useless in reducing speed.

Despite several speed breakers/sign boards, accidents are incurring on daily basis. Police are not monitoring the careless driving and speed of the vehicle drivers. Following driving driving discipline is most important. Govt/administration do not care about these aspects. Lack of governance is hallmark of this govt.
