Mangaluru: Vinayak Baliga murder accused Naresh Shenoy produced in court

Mangaluru, Jun 27: The prime accused in Vinayak Baliga murder case, Naresh Shenoy who was recently arrested, was produced in court on Monday, June 27.

Police inspector Ravish Nayak from Urwa police station escorted Naresh Shenoy while special investigation officer of the case ACP Tilak Chandra produced him in 3rd JMFC court.

Naresh has been sent to police custody till June 30. Before he was brought to court, he was subjected to a medical test at Wenlock hospital in city.

    By law, a person is innocent until proved guilty in court. Till then, she or he could be an accused, but cannot be presumed guilty.

    Can you imagine if such a person's face is shown in the media, and it turns out that s/he is innocent?

    No you simply can't expose any criminal in front of media and citizens because the law assumes every criminal innocent unless and until it is proved before the court of law beyond reasonable doubt the crime of the accused by supplying enough evidence before court of law so that their exist no doubt before the court also to prove the accused guilty.

    But what if you already expose the criminal in front of media and what if he turned out to be not the real accused think of what will happen to his reputation then who will be responsible for defaming him in front of the whole society as it will create a negative impression in front of the right thinking members of the society and you already know what crucial role these social media and media play in each and every individual life. That is why there face is generally covered before presenting them to media unless and until they are proved guilty before the court of law.

    By looking at the smiling face and confidence despite murder charges one can imagine how blessed this man by politically,judicially,fanatical with well to do connections.

    Moreover law enforcement agency came up with the statement accused 'destroyed evidence' seems political influence exerted from the accused side.

    He was deliberately given enough time to run, whereas charges are only filed later once the bail plea rejected by the High court.

    In the meantime he managed his plea through his Sangh affiliated lawyers.How does a person who destroyed his mobile can connect trustworth which cops can't establish?

    This high profile case is BJP's face saving.The saffronisation of Mangalore law enforcement is already blown open 'Cobrapost' sting operation.

    This is classic example how much influence fanaticism has rooted in the government process.

    The Mangalore is sitting just next to the tainted Gujarat IAS officials.

    Only some good old sarmatians and God blessings has kept the city alive.It is clear that cops and politicans failed the city which is once known as educational hub.

    Can somebody imagine how someone runs his security business by using threat?Only Mangalore it is possible all in the presence of law enforcement agency.

    My sympathy with Baliga parents and sister.Let Almighty give them patience to bear the loss of their loved son.

    The truth and justice is dead in India.

    The Mangalore Court

    The court makes its ruling by the evidences produced strong enough to convict the undertrial.

    The below is the Law for destroying evidence


    Section 204 in The Indian Penal Code:

    204. Destruction of 1[document or electronic record] to prevent its production as evidence.—Whoever secretes or destroys any 1[document or electronic record] which he may be lawfully compelled to produce as evidence in a Court of Justice, or in any proceeding lawfully held before a public servant, as such, or obliterates or renders illegible the whole or any part of such 1[document or electronic record] with the intention of preventing the same from being produced or used as evidence before such Court or public servant as aforesaid, or after he shall have been lawfully summoned or required to produce the same for that purpose, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.


    In Naresh Shenoy's case where it is suspected that he has destroyed the evidences, if proved guilty will land him in prison.

    Now here's the catch:
    If you have even been to a court or had a contest in the court, you will know how the Police, the Lawyers both from the defendant and the prosecution have a strange influence on the law and are able to manipulate it. (Talking from experience) even so its highly unlikely that he may please guilty, instead will definitely plead innocence as he is confident (hence explains the pictures of him smiling)

    Anyway, i must have bored the reader with this rant of mine

    Irony is that the family after fighting hard will see not see the light.. no real justice..

    Until the people will be the law. and take Justice by force, you wont see things changing.

    If you disagree, maybe you have not been a position such as the victim. If you have you would understand.

    My sympathies to the Baliga family.

    I saw Dusman Hindi film. Rajesh Khanna kills breadwinner of the family. Court gives punishment that Rajesh Khanna killed the son who was only a support for his elderly parents so he has to work for the family without any salary for life time..... Why can't our courts give such punishment.... i.e. Naresh Shenoy has to work for Vijayak Baliga family for the rest of his life and support them financially???? Or transfer all the assets of Naresh Shenoy to Vinaya Baliga's parents so that Vinaya Baliga's parents and sisters can survive without Baliga.
