Mumbai, Jun 27: Karnataka Sangha, here at a programme held at Samarasa Bhavan, Matunga on June 26, presented the annual Dr Sunitha Shetty award to history scholar, senior littérateur Dr Krishna Kolara
Kulkarni, Bijapur.








The award consisted of Rs 15,000 cash, certificate and a memento. Karnataka Sangha Mumbai senior working committee member, Kalabharathi convener Dr S K Bhavani who presided over the programme presented the award, draped Dr Kulkarni with a shawl and presented him fruits and flowers.

The award presented every year for the last seven years is sponsored by teacher and author Dr Sunitha Shetty.
