Mumbai, Jun 27: Billavara Association held their 84th annual general body meeting at Narayanaguru auditorium, Santacruz east on Sunday morning, June 26.

Association honorary president Jaya C Suvarna garlanded the statue of Brahmashree Narayanaguru in the auditorium, lit the lamp and set the meeting in motion. Nithyananda Kotian presided over the meeting.

Association honorary chief secretary Dharmapal G Anchan welcomed, read the report of previous year and compered the programme. Joint secretary Dhananjay S Kotian read the report of last year's general body meeting. Honorary treasurer Mahesh C Poojary presented the annual accounts.

Vidhitha Ananda Poojary sang the prayer song. In the beginning of the meeting, a silent prayer was said for the departed souls of association members, well wishers and society elite who passed away during the previous year.

Santhosh Poojary conducted Pooja earlier in the meeting. Harish K Hejmady introduced the felicitated. Joint secretary Harish G Salian proposed vote of thanks.

The meeting concluded after national anthem.
