    Lydia/Chodyam/Dev,

The present generation are 2 types now . One who works hard on education front and bring laurels to the family . Other one are lazy gooks wants all the best in life but do not want to work hard. We had these kind one elements even in our times but, the need was not so much where is lazy gooks had to resort to other means not at least majority of them. Cost of cenima was Rs.10then , no requirement of expensive bikes , girls were not so out going hence no tension of thinking to spend any ill gotten money on girls. Time have changed now and may be in another decades time it may change again for good .

Look at their age ! 19 to 20 ! Must not have completed their college even !

Where is the community heading ? The youngsters who were raised instilling teachings like even stealing is a sin, got upto way-laid robbery ?

Their parents and parish heads have a lot of homework to do if this is just the beginning and more are there in line !

    I disagree.

We learn from our mistakes. Our genes did not guide us to do that error but it just happened. Wisdom is, not repeating and promoting to bigger mistake but repenting it and mending our ways.

There is never a record in the world that a child became a thief/murder just because his/her father/mother was one. Human beings (say, their mind) is like clay. Mould it the way you want - you will have it the way you want it !

Children do not listen to their parents and relatives. Here you expect ward leaders to this service. Do you think they listen to them.

Also from the comments from Lydia wherein she is requesting Parish to do homework! what kind of homework! why dont Lydia take the lead in this good cause.

Here there is point in blaming anyone this is the pure symptoms of our legal / judiciary system failure. Afterall one criminal learn from the criminal or criminal incident.

    Peter,

Home is the first school and parents are the first teachers. If the child is not performing as expected (behaviour-wise), he/she is not going to be rewarded with his/her needs.

If parents pour goodies on their children just because they (parents) are capable of it (monetary aspects), despite the children misbehave, certainly the provisions will be misused. One fine day, when the provision falls short, they take up wrong path like stealing/dacoity.

Religious heads train youngsters and guide them on a path of righteousness. A spoilt child as in above example, do not listen even to spiritual heads. As such, its a coordinated system.

Have I made it clear ?

@Lydia Kadri,I think it is bit late to teach this "children".They are not in a state to hear now.Probably they are not having a proper home.when brought up in a good house they wouldnt take up this Job.even no proper education.?should findout from where they are.may be some wanderfamily children?(coolie).Good they are caught .Just use their chilly powder to their own eyes ,then realize how others feel. They Need really hard punishment ,who robbed coolies and others.

    Rangachaariji..

If Lydia, Jossy or others are to pick on community basis, there will be 100 from others when one/two from a certain community. Where, youngsters are moulded from an age as young as six years to live a life that is devoid of wrongs. The moulding goes well upto late teenage hence crime in the community is at minimum.

Remember, 'Achche Din' is for Indians, not Hindus/Muslims/Christians if that is what you think is lacking in the act these youngsters have done. Also remember that there will be no shielding from religious representatives (as it happens with certain sections of the society) but there always will be call to punish the guilty !

what's there to investigate... screw them nicely... everything will come out. then throw them in to some corner of the jail and let them realize what they did was a sin. Please don't release them out. for god sake. they are not fit to be in this society. Also don't expect there should be a chance given and all... they will never change and they will continue what they were doing till now. So, clean up the society by eliminating such evils.

These people threat to society. Please give them rigrous imprisonment as nobody do such acts.
Daily wage workers are very poor..if not taken money home..food not avilable for any family members. Portugeses and Britishers are built so many educational ibstitutions around city..why not join same..and live decent life. It is also requested moral police should keep watch on these rogues if they come out of bail under minority quota. Also find out whether they are having any connection with naxalites. Really fed-up with ongoing activities in city as well as near railway tracks.
