Udupi, Jun 28: Udupi Jamia Mosque held an Iftar meeting with journalists at the mosque auditorium on Monday, June 27.















Jamathe Islami Hind state advisory committee member and Hoode Salihath group of company's vice president Akbar Ali speaking on the occasion, said that fasting during the month of Ramadan drives away viciousness from the society and teaches morality. “The month provides training to Muslims. Everybody is able to know what hunger really is through the fast.

Worship of the Almighty is important in Islam religion. Therefore it has stressed on the sanctity in the Mosque. They have also asked to maintain cleanliness in the mosque,” he said.

Mosque Maulana Abdurrashid Nadwi read the Quran. Udupi district working journalists association president Jayakara Suvarna, Mosque president Sayyad Yasin were present. Mohammed Moula welcomed the gathering and compered the programme.
