Mysuru: Public servant dies when boarding train

Mysuru, Jun 29: A woman government servant died on Tuesday June 28 morning when trying to board a train. She has been identified as Premamma (52) from Bogadi in the city, employed as a 'D' grade employee in the office of the superintendent of police at Chamarajanagara.

Premamma used to commute between her office and residence by train. When reaching the station for catching the passenger train to Chamarajanagara as is her routine on Tuesday morning, she was late by a few minutes. Observing that her train had already started moving out of the station, she ran towards the train and tried to board it. She however, lost her balance, fell down, and lost her life instantly.
