Mangaluru, Jun 30: Sadashiva Nagara Pump House at Ekkooru Kankanady B ward to Subrahmanya Math road newly laid with concrete was inaugurated by Sri Vidyaprasanna Theertha Swamiji of Subrahmanya Math, here on Thursday, June 30.
The road is constructed at a cost of Rs 20 lacs from MLAs area development fund.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA J R Lobo said, “The road from Ekkooru to Sadashivanagara is laid with concrete at a cost of Rs two crores. Special emphasis will be laid for the development of other roads in the area also.”
Kankanady B ward corporator Pravin Chandra Alva, ward president Bharath Ram, Prabhakara Sriyan, block president Balakrishna Shetty, Umesh Devadiga, Shashidhar Kothari, Kamalaksha Naik, Sunder Alva, Krithin Kumar, Vishalakshi Shetty, Devaki Achuth Gowda, Victor Rathnakar Rao, Navin Lobo, Vincent, Chetan, Sunil, Shabir and others were present.
