Udupi, Jul 7: After the news about people spending days in fear due to a well without a protective wall was published in Daijiworld, the administration has woken up and come forward to construct the wall.

The wall around the old well situated behind Sri Krishna Math auditorium parking lot was demolished during Paryaya this year and covered with iron rods, and as days passed by, the open well posed danger to passers by. The Krishna Math administration had not constructed the wall even after five months.

Daijiworld had published a report about it on June 13 after obtaining information from locals and tourists. The administration brought stones within two days after the news was published and the construction of the wall began after twenty days.

Any how it should be warning to all who ever neglect their role in public safety need some sort of punishment.... I really appreciate DW and their team. Need to publish every issue so let every citizen must know who they are and where are they... thanks.
