Oman United Pangalites Elect New Office-bearers

Oman, Nov 16: The Oman United Pangalites recently elected their new committee for the year 2007-2008.  Naveen Barboza, young and energetic Pangla parishioner and active activist in Oman has taken the leadership for the coming year to bring more unity among the members. 

The Oman United Pangalites are working constantly and unselfishly to unfold traditional culture of Mangalore and unite the parishioners working and living in Oman. The outgoing committee members reviewed the events that were held during the last year during the concluding meeting for the year.

The following members were unanimously elected by the committee:

President  :  Naveen Barboza
Secretary : Violet Lobo
Treasurer : Prakash D’sa
Public Relations in-charge : Stany Jovin Menezes

The outgoing president Sunil D’sa thanked the wholehearted support of  all the members during the last year and handed over the charge to the new president .

The new president Naveen Barboza presented many entertaining events for the forthcoming year and urged the members to show the same enthusiasm and keep up their unity in the years to come.
