Kundapur, Jul 9: In a case pertaining to a lady teacher eloping with her minor student after falling in love with him, the court here has granted divorce to the husband.
The couple had married each other on April 29, 2013, as per their caste system in the town. The groom, pursuing a well-paying employment at Dubai, had not demanded for any dowry. During his visit to the native place, the husband had noticed that his wife was always engrossed with cellphone conversations and messages. When questioned, the wife gave evasive replies.
On January 30, 2015, the lady fled with a minor student abandoning her husband. The husband had approached the court with a request to grant divorce to him. The court upheld the request, which was put up through advocate, Ravikiran Murudeshwar.
