Mangaluru: Get ready to sizzle! 3 Hungry Men food contest on Jul 17

Mangaluru, Jul 10: This monsoon get ready to sizzle as The 3 Hungry Men, the city's popular food reviewing body, brings to you 'Man Vs Sizzler', a sizzler eating competition to be held at Kobe Sizzlers, Balmatta on July 17, 3 pm to 6 pm.

The competition will have two members in one team and the entry fee will be Rs 300 per team. The best part is that every team that participates will get a Kobe voucher of Rs 300 to redeem after they participate. So technically, the participation is free of cost.

Nikhil Pai, co-founder of The 3 Hungry Men, said, "This competition will mark our five-year presence so we are really looking forward to it. This time we have restricted the entry to only 20 teams and the tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis. There will be no spot entries."

Colin D'Souza added, "This time, all eyes will be on the prize as the team who finishes the sizzler the fastest gets to walk away with one month of free sizzlers. No one has organized a competition like this in Mangaluru before and we are really excited to be hosting this."

The 3 Hungry Men is Mangaluru's first food reviewing body and is also among the top food bloggers' list of India by Food Bloggers Association, India. They are also the pioneers of competitive eating events in Mangaluru.

Entry forms can be purchased at Kobe Sizzlers between 11 am and 11 pm every day on or before July 16.

Entries are based on first-come-first-serve and there shall be no spot entries. The competition is only open to those who are 18 and above.
