Shree Atmananda Swamijee, Dr. Jayamala to Grace Billawa Event in Dubai on Nov 23, 2007

Dubai, Nov 18: Shree Atmananda Saraswati Swamiji is the founder of the magnificent Shree Rama Temple Complex in Nityananda Nagara near Dharmastala. He is the disciple of Shri Nityananda Swamiji. Shri Nityananda Swamiji, born in Kerala, was a distinguished saint revered by millions of people all over the country.
Shri Nityananda Swamiji visited Dharmasthala in 1927 and for a day, he stayed at the present site of Shree Rama Kshetra when devotees met him and had his blessings. Shri Atmananda Saraswathi Swamiji served his master at Ganeshpuri in Thana district of Bombay from 1937 to 1961 until Shri Nityananda Swamiji attained Samadhi. During his association with his master the latter had expressed his wish to Shri Atmananda Saraswathi Swamiji to have a Rama Temple constructed in Dharmasthala village.Thus, at the behest of his master, Shri Atmananda Saraswathi Swamiji came to Shree Dharmasthala Kshetra in 1969 and made efforts to fulfil thewishes of his master.
He got this site on donation from Shri SooryanarayanaRao, who was at (that time Estate Manager of Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala.In 1971, he got a small thatched building constructed in which he started "Bhagawan Shri Nityananda Mandir". Soon, devotees started gathering at the Mandir.

Popular cine artist Jayamala will be attending 10th Anniversary function organized by Billawas Dubai & NE as guest of honor. The actress who started her acting career in Tulu films moved on to act in Kannada films and has not looked back ever since. She has acted in over 75 films in Hindi, Kannada, Tulu, Tamil and Telugu films. She turned a producer in 1998 and has so far produced six films in Kannada.
Very recently she has added another feather in her cap. Actress cum producer Smt.Jayamala also known as Jayanthi has been conferred with a Doctorate by the Bangalore University. The university accepted the recommendation of board of examiners for the award of the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy to be bestowed on her.
Jayamala’s research work is on the rehabilitation of Karnataka state homeless women and the administration related to it in the state. This national award-winning actress Jayamala submitted her thesis in political science through her guide Dr.M.G.Krishnan. She will now be called as Dr.Jayamala. Jayamala is very happy with this doctorate honour given to her. She says, “From 13 years of my age I have seen the struggle and the atrocities on women.”
Dr. Jayamala, a Billawa lady from Mangalore is an inspiration to all ladies in general and Billawa ladies in particular. Billawas Dubai is very proud to have her as guest.
