Bengaluru, Jul 15: There are rumours doing the rounds which claim that former Karnataka Lokayukta, Justice Bhaskar Rao, has left for USA.
Such a rumour is being heard since the news of the governor giving permission to the investigating officers to file charge sheet against Justice Rao in the court came out.
After resigning as state Lokayukta, Justice Bhaskar Rao had shifted his residence to Hyderabad. As he is now not available for contact on his cellphone, there have been claims that he has left for USA. If this is true, the special investigating team will have to handle the problem of delivering court notice to him.
The special investigating team is still awaiting the receipt of the authorization given by the governor to file charge sheet. Investigating officer of the case, Labhu Ram, has said that additional charge sheet will be submitted against Justice Rao once the permission of the governor is received.
