Mumbai, July 17 (IANS): Singer Darshan Raval of "India's Raw Star" fame has now composed a new single "Ab phir se jab baarish" and considers this to be a turning point in his career.

Darshan told IANS: "'Ab phir se jab baarish' is a beautiful romantic song and I never thought people will like this song so much and it will get millions of views. I certainly consider this single as a turning point in my career."

"I thought I should write a song and I am glad that people supported this song," he added.

The emotional song, produced by One Digital Entertainment, is on love and heartbreak. Darshan has over 160,000 YouTube subscribers to his credit.

Talking about his phase of struggle in his career, Darshan said: "My journey was certainly not easy. When the reality show came to an end, then the struggle started. I didn't get any positive response. Then one day I called Himesh Reshammiya sir, and he called me to his studio and then I started getting work."

"I am really thankful to Himesh sir."

Darshan was the runner-up in "India's Raw Star".
