Kasargod: Four RSS workers arrested for CPM activist's murder

Kasargod, Jul 18: Four RSS workers have been arrested in connection to the murder of CPI activist C V Dhanaraj.

The arrested are Vaishak (21), Sukesh (24), Prajith Lal (21) and Anoop (21).


Dhanraj

A police team led by Payyanur circle inspector V Ramesh made the arrests.

Dhanaraj was hacked to death by a gang on the night of July 11 in the presence of his family members.

Within a few hours of the murder, BMS activist C K Ramachandran was murdered at his house by another gang in retaliation. The accused in this case are yet to be traced.

There was another murder attempt on Dhanaraj in the past, the investigation team has learnt.

Though it is widely believed that political rivalry could be the reason for the murder of Dhanaraj, police are investigating the case from other angles also.

The arrested persons will be produced in court on Monday July 18.

    DYSP case punish who ever is guilty.i dont see any one as minority and majority for me its just crime n criminal. as far as legal aid is concerned. MR.JEEVAN was remembering Mr.Owasisi and any one sympathetic for these criminals they can provide them legal aid.

    This must be old rivalry between two groups and revenge. RSS is peace loving and have some principles. Police and CPM wants to malign RSS and BJP since BJP is coming up in Kerala. Eventhough Hindus are majority, RSS is less active in Kerala. This may be a fight between congress and CPM. Time will bring the truth out.

    Why the peace-loving people are holding a long wooden lathi like the police force carry? Since RSS is ruling from New Delhi, the followers in Kerala are acting like the unofficial law keepers of the land. In Kerala, they have created many problems to the minorities already. The people of Kerala has mainly voted for the LDF due to the increased trouble making nature of the newly penetrated north Indian invention RSS to destroy the peace and order of the society.

    Yes, Hindus are 56% of the Kerala population, 19% Christians and 24% Muslims and the rest belongs to other minority and non-religious people.

    We were all living in peace but the north Indian VHP/RSS/BD and the rest have caused so much friction in the society already. The communist led LDF will be a match to the RSS.
