Modern cars are designed such that the front side of the car deforms locally(crumple zone)thus absorbing the impact energy. Thus the impact/shock is not transferred to passenger compartment and it remains to its original size/space.when you look at the images, there is hardly any deformation in the passenger compartment. Therefore the occupants have got minimum injuries.Wearing a seatbelt would have further reduced the injuries.WEAR SEAT BELTS ALWAYS !!! HAPPY DRIVING FOLKS !!

A classic case of Aquaplaning.. I travel on the same stretch everyday, when it rains water flows on the road. If the car has considerable speed it aquaplanes, and driver loses control.. nothing much can be done by the driver to control the car when it Aquaplanes.... need nerves of steel to manage this situation.

Am sure the driver never knew Aquaplaning, might have got shocked when his steering didn't give feedback, tried manuring the car. lost control.

Main cause of accidents is due to mobile. When driver answers a mobile call while driving,it slips from his hand and he tries to bend down and chances of driver loosing control of the car by hitting the pavement or falling in to ditch. Mobile should be hand free or driver should park the car to the safe  side of the road and answer the call. If a driver found talking on the phone while driving should be fined heavily, say about Rs 3000 and car and licence should be impounded for a week. There shouldibe big hoarding on highways displaying pictures of the accident and Caution about use of mobile while driving, over speeding and drink and drive. Those drivers who break the rules should be made to read the rules loudly in any language in the traffic department. This might educate the drivers and accidents may reduce. Safety comes first.

Mobile is one reason but not the only reason. Its a phone not a soap to slip.

Many times Airport Road became a runway for driver's.People are rush to airport due to delay. Their is past news from Yeyadi to Bondel accident happens due to over speed & drink and drive. Now without drainage, water is flowing in the road. Need to put humps or barriers to avoid incidents.

How safe are our cars ? does the manufacturers have any responsibly to ensure the strength of the body ? Would it have been this way if the car was our own AMBASSADOR ?

if it was ambassador, all would have died because of the hard impact which directly passed on to passengers...now vehicles are made of thin metal so that it will absorb impacts and reduce causalities to passengers..
