Dhanush sings for Telugu film 'Thikka'


Chennai, Jul 20 (IANS): Actor Dhanush, who has so far crooned Tamil hit numbers such as "Why This Kolaveri", "Maari Thara Local" and "Oh Oh", has now recorded a Telugu song in upcoming Telugu entertainer "Thikka".

"Dhanush has crooned the title track of the film. This is the first time he has sung in composer Thaman's music," a source from the film's unit told IANS.

On Tuesday, after the record, Thaman posted a picture with Dhanush on his Twitter page.

Having majorly sung in Tamil, Dhanush has now started crooning in other languages. Last year, he sang a song in Kannada film "Vajrakaya".

Dhanush is currently shooting for Tamil gangster drama "Vada Chennai".
