Mr.A.B.Ibrahim, is one of the most brilliant, sincere and hardworking DC ever seen in our Dakshina Kannada District. He has visited utmost remote areas of Belthangady Taluk, to study about the problems of rural people and to solve their problems, to best of his capacity. Our Belthangady MLA, Sri K.Vasantha Bangera has commented about A.B.Ibrahim that, he had never seen in his 45 years of political career, such a honest, hardworking and sincere DC. Also he commented that, it is very difficult to except such a person as DC in future also. As far as my experience is concerned, I have witnessed him in several occasions where I saw a very decent and impartial duties towards the old aged poor people. Once I witnessed that he called a very aged women in gathering and asked about her problems. After hearing her problems, he immediately ordered the concerned Tahasildar, to solve her problems and report him within 24 hours. We have several examples like this. Even he is a Muslim by religion, he has worked as a Mass DC for all religious people.

As far as the NEW DC I am not in a position to comment about him at this early stage. However once I was happened to talk with him in one occasion, and I found him he is also a very nice gentleman, and seems to be very sincere in his duties. However I am wishing both A.B.Ibrahim and Dr.Jagadessh,a healthy, prosperous, happy life in future, and ALMIGHTY may bless both of them.

Thank you for giving a chance to comment on above two very important persons.

    With best regards to all

Mr. A.B. Ibrahim is an up-right man with great qualities of heart and mind. Indeed he served the Mangalore region well and his transfer is a great loss to the community in Mangalore. He was indeed very kind to the people of Mangalore and any one had free access to him. Honest to the extreme .....

While praising Mr. Ibrahim, I join several others in extending a warm and hearty welcome to Dr.Jagdish. I wish him a long and fruitful tenure.

Just a day before he ordered ban on Ola and Uber in Mangalore on the pretext of non-submission of required compliance papers affecting people who are dependent on these cheap and efficient mode of transport. Mangalore people have also forgotten the artificial sand scarcity created making sand prices double during his tenure affecting the house builders?

DK's loss is going to Bengaluru's gain, since the Transport Dept. & Road Safety Dept. badly needs a person of your ability and dedication, to set right the mess. Wishing you best of luck, Sir.

Politicians again hit the base of integrity of a Civil Servant, who has been vocal to the Political interference in Administrative issues. Mr. P B Ibrahim spoke to his mind & he listens to the grievances of people and took as much as positive steps to reduce the problems & burning issues. His efforts resulted in clean up the garbage & now people have to clean up our system where frequent political interference hindering the development. His many proactive & bold steps irked Political masters who were trying hard to transfer him from Mangalore.
Politicians may transfer one Officer, but honesty and integrity will prevail through his successor (Hopefully) to carry forward Mr. Ibrahim’s vision to benefit of the People of DK through good work.
It is sad that a honest Civil Servant become a victim of Political egoism in the tenure of a honest CM!!!.
Wishing Mr. Ibrahim all the success in his new assignment, Almighty may bless him good health & long life to serve the people of the country.

People should stop praising Civil servants and elected Government officials. Should put end to honor and award ceremony to officials. It is the job of each public servant to provide best service to the people whom they serve and they are paid/compensated dearly from the public funds for their service. Those who do not perform well should be terminated and their job should be given to other most qualified citizen.

Certainly His way of governing the office irritated the Corrupt Ministers,MLA and MLC together. Every honest official in Mangalore is transferred because corruption cannot survive with Honest Administrator on action. MCC is famous for Transfer of honest Commissioners.
I had very good relationship with Mr Ibrahim and His Office. He was a helping hand to Me when I tried to solve Public Problems.

During the stint of Mr Adoor Ibrahim as DC of D K DIST most of the magistrative powered orders/directions/instructions issued by him during his tenure were utterly defied by those subservient to his office is a sad commentary. To quote an example his order to issue city bus tickets to the commuters through ticketing machines was hardly complied with by the bus operators and the uninterrupted looting spree is still continuing by the bus staff under the patronage of bus operators under their nose and none existed in the district administration to check this menace and exercise checks and balances on the operations of bus operators.
