Mangaluru: No holiday for schools in DK, Udupi districts on Monday

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (RJP)

Mangaluru, Jul 24: The schools in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts will remain open on Monday, July 25, communications from twin district administrations said.

Due to the KSRTC staff bus strike that will begin on Sunday July 24 midnight, the transport system in the state will be affected. But as Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts have wider private bus network than the KSRTC service, the impact of the strike on these two districts will t be minimal.

The administrations have appealed to teaching and non-teaching staffs of schools, colleges and students to use private buses and transport. The communications from both the district administration said that the schools and colleges will remain open on Monday.

KSRTC has 23,000 buses with 1.25 lac employees and it carries more than 1.5 crore passengers every day.

Nagesh Nayak lack intelligence. He goes on repeating against Sonia Gandhi as a small baby repeats rhymes of ba ba black sheep. Looking at what is happening to the Dalits, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs and people of good will I am sure the country would prefer a dignified Sonia Gandhi than a hate-mongering and violent BJP which does not believe in a human and secular India. Nagesh can then move into USA like his other friends who are settles there

    Very true, Nageshji,
All these collections & savings in suitcases are for the forthcoming elections. But we all know that deposits lost are non-refundable! So, what flows out of the dirty drains of Bangalore will return as fertilizer for Karnataka crops!!
