Udupi: Police arrest ganja peddler from Shankarapura

Udupi, Jul 25: Kaup police arrested a ganja peddler on Monday, July 25. They also seized 738 grams of ganja from him.

Clement (34) from Shankarapura is the person arrested.

Clement was found near Mudabettu bus stand of Katpadi on Shirva road. Police had gone there after receiving credible information.

Head constable Sudhakar, Mahabala, Ravi, Raghu, Ratnakar and PSI Jagadish were in the operation.

A case has been registered at Kaup police station.

    Really very dangerous act. Shankarpura shirva manchkal belt famous for 'Malligge-Jasmine' all over the world. This man pura naam meethi mein mila diya. Just find out whether he his cultivating poppy seeds in his lawn. May be turns same like afghanistan..source of income.
    Disappointed a lot..a people like these in our society. Only 15-20 people commented..that also in defense. Where is moral police..how allowed to continue in the same. It means you fall in your appointed duty.
