Kundapur, Jul 26: A teenage boy fell into a temple pond by accident and died on Tuesday, July 26 at Gangolli near here.
Sarfraz (13), son of Abdul Razak the resident of near Gangolli post office, is the young boy deceased.
Sarfraz is the seventh child in the family and was very active. When he walking besides the pond belonging to a temple, he must have slipped and fallen into the pond by accident, it is believed.
When Sarfraz did not come home, the family started searching for him and a neighbour spotted the body of Sarfraz floating in the pond.
The body has been sent to Kundapur government hospital.
A case stands registered at Gangolli police station.
