She had filed a case of harassment against the college principal in the police station here. About a year back she was transferred from here to government PU college at Nelamangala and she had started to live with her family at Manganahalli.

On Friday morning, Dr Laxmi received a phone call from Sullia police station. The policemen wanted to serve on her notice about filing of B report, which means not finding any credible evidence in the complaint. Shocked by this development, Laxmi listed out reasons in her Facebook account for deciding to end her life.

Suicide for what? Police has to either find evidence or else go for closure. She might not have supported her complaint by giving any evidence. In such cases evidence is critical and its very difficult for police to gather evidence.

Sad, don't know about how serious is her real situation.
But now a days, suicide has become a trend in the society.
People's bearing and fighting for injustice capacity is reduced. Unless people fight for injustice, situation will not change for better.
In the case of suicide, Perpetrators will emerge victorious for this is what they wanted, victims will loose.
