Puttur: Bullet tanker topples at Uppinangadi, no casualty

Puttur, Aug 1: A bullet tanker transporting LPG from Mangaluru to Bengaluru toppled on National Highway No. 75 at Banottu in Uppinangadi on Monday, August 1.

Driver Lokanath (39) from Tamil Nadu sustained minor injuries due to the incident.


Fortunately, there is no leakage of LPG from the tanker. Fire and Emergency service personnel from Puttur immediately rushed to the spot.

National Highway remains blocked due to the incident and the traffic has been diverted via Puttur.

Uppinangadi police, who arrived at the spot, are managing the situation.
