Bengaluru: Senior cinema, stage actor Sanketh Kashi passes away

Bengaluru, Aug 6: Senior cinema as well as stage actor Sanketh Kashi breathed his last on the evening of Saturday, August 6.

Sanketh Kashi was 50.

Sanketh was suffering from heart related ailments. He was admitted into a private hospital at Mandalpalya in city three days back and has been taking treatment there. His end came when he stopped responding to treatment.

Kirathaka, Ulta Palta, Manedevru, Annayya Mangalya Thanthu and Naanena were some of his popular films. He was famous for his dialogue delivery and had acted in more than 115 films.

    It is very sad to learn that Kashi, the great comedian died. He had great talent , His comedy was so natural and families sitting in home can watch with fun and enjoy. Kannada film industry did not encourage such talents, instead some actors (for last 10 years) who are like animals are given comedy role and double meaning.

    Late Mr. Sanketh was a great actor, very intelligent man, very honest and disciplined, I had a privilege to meet him once in Goa many years ago while he was shooting for a movie there.
    Sir, we salute you for your sincere contribution to drama, theater play & cinema, you will be dearly missed.
    May your soul rest in peace & we pray to god to give your grieving family the courage to over come the grief.
    Gone, but not forgotten.
    RIP Mr.Sanketh.
